Adam very much understood the idea of Santa this year. He was timid to meet him, but excited none the less. He didn't say much to him when they met... but did manage to get out... "I want a choo choo."
He must have been a good boy... Santa brought lots of fun stuff!
It was a good laid back Christmas. The boys seemed more tired than usual.
We thought it might be from all the excitement, but when they started running a fever... we knew it was something else. We ended up having Jesus's birthday cake upstairs in bed.
However, the kids (especially Adam) barely touched their dessert. We were off to the doctors the next day-- ear infection for Zachary, and Adam... poor thing... double ear infection and strep throat... and yet such a little trooper!
We had a low key New Year's as well. This time the kiddos were a little bit more into their treat for the evening... don't freak... we may not be the best parent's in the world, but that's just sparkling cider in their glasses!
