Adam makes Aggie references that amaze me-- things I didn't teach him, so I'm constantly saying "Where does he get this stuff?!?" i.e. I got him a belt one day that had a silver buckle on it-- his comment: "It's like an Aggie" (yep, he was refering to the corp belt buckles). Then on our last trip to Texas he came back SINGING the Aggie War Hymn. Yea, we play the band version every now and then, but I have hardly ever sung it to him... well until recently, now he wants me to sing the "Aggie song" all the time. And, oh help us, if he wants to wear an Aggie shirt one day and we don't have any clean ones!
So it was an extra special treat to be able to go see Adam's precious Aggies (well at least the Aggie Band that is) for thier first game march-in this year. Adam was awestruck when we turned the corner and saw the band for the first time-- he started pointing and shouting... "There it is! There it is!".

He seemed a bit disappointed that his dear Uncle Kason ("THE Aggie") didn't have his drum this year... but then he saw what he did have...

He was so timid holding it- terrified of messing it up.

But he also really didn't like for any one else to touch it either!

Zachary just loved being able to run around!

The boy cousins (minus 1)

So sweet! :)

My little bro (not so little anymore).

Some other peeps that kept hanging around us! HA!

K-Dan and the little Aggie

Signing "more" after the band passed by. "More Aggies" he said.

Zachary worn out from all the FUN!

So what tradition did Adam pick up on this most recent trip?-- "Gig Em Aggies". He says it ALL the time now. And there is a little something else too, but you will have to wait for another post to find out about that!
