Tired

We are fighting the cold or possibly the flu in our household so things have been rough. The house is a mess, laundry is everywhere, and all I want to do is SLEEP! We are doing a deep cleaning this weekend-- mostly to get rid of the germs. I'm hoping I get some energy back soon.

I had another doctor appointment Wednesday and everything is looking good. I love listening to the pitter patter of that little heartbeat-- music to my ears! Truly a miracle!

Because I think this is just too cute...

Awhile back I wrote about Adam being so excited when they brought out the little high chairs at school. Well here are a few pictures I took a couple weeks ago...

Our Precious Little Jumping Bean

I have been feeling pretty good during this second pregnancy... no daily, hourly, minute runs to the bathroom to get rid of my breakfast/ lunch/ dinner. It has been a little weird not having the pregnancy reminders that I did with Adam, so I was very excited to see my little one at the ultrasound today. Everything looks good. A strong heartbeat... and another little mover-- he/ she was jumping all over the place. God is good!

Playing in the snow

Since I got home a little early today there was still a few hours of sunlight left. So I took the opportunity to let Adam play in the newly fallen snow for a little bit.

Happy Birthday Cooper

Some of my closest friends also have little boys close in age to Adam. It is so much fun watching all the kiddos grow up together. This weekend we celebrated Cooper's first birthday. Cooper was absolutely adorable and we were so glad to be able to share in the enjoyment with him and his parents.

Get out of my way!

Not even a week walking-- and Adam thinks he is a pro.

Valentine's Day

Sharing it with those I love...

Joe sent me the most beautiful flowers.

And Adam had a grand time with the balloon for Daddy.

Happy Valentine's Day to all those near and far that we cherish and love. Hope your Valentine's Day was as great as ours.

Taking steps

Adam is walking! He would push and then chase after a ball at school. His teachers tried to get him to do it for me when I showed up, but of course he wasn't in the mood to show off. But eventually he did take about five steps and perhaps would have done more except for the fact that his teachers and I scared him (and the other kids) by screaming shouts of excitement. At home I tried to get him to repeat his accomplishment for the camera, but of course this was to no avail. I did get him to take 20 steps (of course I was counting) at one point in time and eventually (with Dad prodding him with cupcakes he broght home from work) Adam took a couple steps for the video camera. :)

Why my Daddy is AWESOME!

He leaves in the middle of the night to get my mom a milk shake (yes cravings have started) and also lets me have a treat. My first McDonald's nugget! I loved it, but was told that tomorrow it is back to those darn carrots mom made me eat yesterday.

Mover and Shaker

Adam is now STANDING on his own! Last night we noticed him letting go of the sides of what we call his "cage" (the playpen in our den). :) He would let go AND tip his head back to drink the bottle he was holding. Good coordination kiddo! I think we might have a walker any day now. Not sure if I am looking forward to that or not! LOL

We got some good video of him "standing" last night, but by the time we broke out the camera he had decided he didn't want to entertain us anymore. So until I can get a picture of him, or the video uploaded... here is picture of him at school yesterday with his recently favorite toys. Of course they are the walkers! And he doesn't play around-- no using just one, he'll take two thank you! :)
