Our Little Pumpkin

A busy weekend... picking out pumpkins, watching Mommy bake cupcakes, a Halloween party. I think it all caught up to me yesterday. Daddy had to come pick me up from scool because I started to run a fever. My ear infection that I thought was gone... came back! Darn thing! At least I got to stay home and play with Mommy again today! :) We have been having lots of fun. I got to sleep in with her this morning, we ran to the store for some groceries, and then watched Meet the Robinsons. Tonight she is going to make some cookies and I might get to help. Maybe she'll give me some more apple juice. I tried apple juice for the first time last night and love it! I kind of like this preferential treatment when I am sick!

Don't Blink

Well Adam has new tricks. He has been "scooting" for a couple of weeks now and is getting into everything! He is quite the little boy and loves playing with his soccer ball and fish bowl toys. He also discovered all his stuffed animals in his room. Although his favorite thing to do is, as Joe puts it, "wrestle" with them.

Because he HATES sitting still... Adam was scooting around before he learned to sit up by himself. Backwards from most kids-- but he is unique. He has now started to sit on his own, but it only lasts a few seconds before he is off to find something else to do.

And his latest-- he is now pulling up to stand. I discovered him pulling up to his knees and trying to stand the other day in his Pack N Play and he is getting pretty good at doing this in his crib as well. So today I had to take out the "infant" insert in the Pack N Play and plan to also lower the crib setting today as well. Time to baby proof the house!!

Another reminder that kids grow up WAY too fast... as the new song by Kenny Chesny says... DON'T BLINK!!

Fall Fun

Okay.. so I'm going to attempt to keep up with this blogging thing because my sisters are so good at it and are making me looking bad. Things have been quite chaotic in our lives, but every day is truly a blessing.

This past weekend we took Adam to a petting farm. He is teething, so halfway through our adventure he started to get fussy... but the hayride put him right to sleep. What an angel!

Saturday evening was the A&M/ OSU game. It wasn't on cable t.v. so we joined the Aggie Club to watch it. During half time Adam and I joined in on an impromptu yell practice and then chowed down on some Blue Bell ice cream! YUM! Adam certainly loves his Homemade Vanilla. And his eyes lit up when we sang the fight song... must have reminded him of the fun times spent with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins last weekend in good ole Aggieland.
